Welcome to Discovery Academy

Our Philosophy
Discovery Academy offers an exciting, advanced curriculum for children in K3 Pre-Kindergarten through Third grade. We teach comprehensive courses in reading, math, science and social studies plus activities in art, music and penmanship. Our students explore learning with computers and foreign languages. We provide a structured academic program with many opportunities for free expression in games, play time and social interaction throughout the day. Our extracurricular activities give our students the opportunity to participate in dance, cooking, Spanish and Choi Kwang Do classes taught by experienced professionals. Most of our staff has been with us from 3 to 17 years. We've been operating in Lithonia for over 21 years.

Is to provide a safe, challenging and enriching environment where students excel academically with confidence, high self-esteem, self-discipline, and self-motivation. Discovery Academy teachers use loving care and positive reinforcement to help each child develop confidence and a love for learning. Each child is recognized as an individual and encouraged to reach their maximum potential.
